Preview Week runs from Nov. 23 until Nov. 27 to help you plan your event. The main event will run from Nov. 30 starting at 1 pm EST and concludes Dec. 4 at 1pm EST. 

An email with details on how to login will be sent from [email protected] starting Nov. 23. You will login to Buildings Week using the email address you used to register for the event. If you have issues logging in, please email [email protected]. Please note attendee accounts are for one user only and will be locked if shared with multiple users. 

You will need a stable hi-speed internet connection for the best viewing experience. Please also use a supported internet browser which includes the most up-to-date version of Google Chrome, Firefox, or Safari. Internet Explorer is NOT recommended. 

Click on your name/profile image in the top right corner of the page and from the drop down menu click “My Profile”. Follow the instructions and get networking! 

In addition to desktop and mobile web access, a Buildings Week mobile app is available. Search Buildings Canada Network in your iTunes App Store or Google Play Store.

There are two ways to message an Exhibitor during Buildings Week.

1. First click the "Exhibitor" button on the homepage, and then click into the exhibitor profile of the company you would like to connect with. Once in the exhibitor profile, you may see a chat on the right side of your screen that says "Chat with Exhibitor" and prompts you to write a message. No connections are required. Simply type your message.

2. Alternatively, you can scroll down the page to the company "Team" and click on the specific team member you would like to message. Once viewing the team members profile on the right side of your screen you can type a message and click "Send Connection Request". Once this colleague accepts your request, you can message back and forth. You can also find team members under "Networking" by searching a specific name or company.  

Once logged into Buildings Week you can find all attendees listed under the "Networking" Button. Search and/or find the attendee you would like to connect with and click into their profile. On the right side of the page you can send a message and then click "Send Connection Request".  Once the attendee has accepted your request, you can message back and forth. 

From the Buildings Week homepage, at the top right of the page, click the second icon with two message chat bubbles. Here you will see all of your previous messages.

Click the "My Event" button from the Buildings Week Homepage. Once on the "My Event" page, click on "My Meetings". Here you will see your accepted and pending meetings. Click into the accepted meeting during the meeting time to join. 

Click “My Event” then find the confirmed meeting you would like to enter under “My Meetings”.  When it is time to enter this meeting, click the three dots in the bottom right side of the meeting box and then select “Start a video call”. 

This will open up your video screen. Remember to allow swapcard to access your camera and microphone for your virtual meeting. Then ensure that your camera and microphone buttons are switched on for your call.

Following the conclusion of the event, look for a Buildings Week Survey email in your inbox. We want to hear from you so please share your opinions!  

You must attend the entirety of the session before Dec. 4 at 1pm to receive the full credit outlined for the session.

Proof of attendance certificates will be emailed to you in the weeks following Buildings Week. If you do not receive your certificate, please email [email protected].  

You must register for any sessions you would like to attend through the registration system. Once registered, in the event platform click on "My Event" on the top menu bar. Any sessions you have registered for will show up in “My Schedule” on the left menu bar and you can click on the session to enter. Free demonstrations will be open to view at their scheduled time and registration is not required. 

Sessions will be uploaded within 48 hours of the original broadcast time to watch on-demand. You can access these through the "My Event" tab to re-watch or watch any content you may have missed.

Please keep in mind that to claim continuing education credits, the session must be viewed in its entirety before Dec. 4 at 1:00 pm EDT. 

If you have registered for an All Access Pass, you will be able to view all live and on demand sessions that you selected during the registration process. Sessions must be selected during registration for access.

Without an All Access Pass, you have access only to the sessions that you have registered and paid for. Select sessions, including demonstrations, are free for all to attend and will be open to view for the duration of the event.

Go to https://www.microspec.com/reg/BW2020/ click "Access My Registration" on the bottom right of the page. Login and modify as necessary.

You can also access your registration via a link on individual session pages. 

Click the "My Event" button. Once on the "My Event" page you will see "My Bookmarked Companies" on the left menu bar.
